These products may be able to persevere since they’re units of big companies, but negative research results aren’t going to help.###Others manufacturers are substituting plant-based products for real eggs by using cellulose, mung beans, chickpea flour, dried yeast and cornstarch. Replacement products like JUST Egg, Neat Egg, Ener-G Egg Replacer and the Vegg Vegan Egg Yolk are widely available to those wanting to cut down on their egg consumption. These replacement products stand to gain market share from several anti-egg trends — those liron ferrous sulfate near meooking for options that are vegan, plant-based and with low cholesterol. Renewed questions about links between egg consumption and risks from heart disease and early death will only help the replacement market grow.
