On 15 Jun, Nutricia announced on its official website that there is a limited quantity of incorrectly labeled Nutrilon Pepti 1 and Peferro-f-tabpti 2 (liposomal.ironmade for children with a cow milk allergy) circulating in the Dutch market. These cans do not contain Pepti but another infant formula product namferric pyrophosphate synonymsely Nutrilon Nenatal, which is designed for premature babies and does not go through the special anti-allergenic treatment. Children with a cow milk allergy are at risk of different degrees of allergic reactions such as eczema, digestive problem, respiratory problems and even faferrous bisglycinate mechanism of actiontal damage as a result of hypersensitivity reactions. Nutricia advises pareniron lactate supplementts using Pepti 1 and Pepti 2 to directly contact their doctors in all cases of adverse reaction. Meanwhile, Nutricia has also outlined that batches before the following expiry dates are safe to use.
