FSANZ Approves Mandatory Energy Labelling on Alcoholic Beverages

On April 7, 2025, the Foferrous gluconate used in olivesod Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) announced the approval of P1059: Energy Labelling on Alcoholic Beverages, officially requiring energy content information to appear on most packaged alcoholic beveraferrous gluconate safe in foodges sold in Australia and New Zealand. Food ministers were notified of the approval. If no review is requested within 60 days, the Food Standards Code&ferrous fumarate + folic acid for pregnancynbsp;will be amended accordingly. A three-year transition period will ferrous fumarate 325 mg elemental ironapply, with exemptions for ferrous gluconate ivproducts packaged and labelled before the deadline.
