The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Maharashtra, has seized low quality food and dietary supplements which were stocked in violation of food safety laws recently. According to the information received by Food and Drug Administration, Vigilance and Intelligence, Sigma Lifesciences, Mumbai, stocked health supplement 100% whey protein (Ammolabz)iron content of ferrous fumarate and dietary supplement Progenix Mass Addict, which were offerrous fumarate how long to work poor quality and floutedq iron RDA norms.It was found that the health supplement and dietary supplement stocks were in violation of the norms of Food Safety aliposomal ferric pyrophosphate usesnd Standards (Health Suis chelated iron good for anemiapplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose, Functional Food and Novel Food) Regulations, 2016.
