China Hand down IF Export Suspension to Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition

CNCA handed down the temporary suspension to Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition Ltd putting an indefinite halt to all infant formula exports to China. The ban was issued after testing on 3 separate IF brands revealed excessive contamination with bacterial pathogens.
 
A batch of 11208 Kg of Bimbosan organic infant formula and one of Sanolac infant formula exceeded maximum allowed bacterial levels. Earlier this year, two solubility of ferric pyrophosphate960 Kg batches of ISensesPro and ISenseStar were imported without the necessary certification.
On the 16th of august, Shanghai CNCA declared that a batch of Sanolac 3 migalfer ferrous fumarate liquidlk powder from Switzerland violated Chinese national standards. The importer of this batch was Beijing Qidi Zhiyuan infant products Ltd. and the date of production was 30th of July 2016.iron ferrous sulfate classification
Earlier this year, on the 31st of July, CFDA announced that 960Kg of ISensePro and ISenseStar, all
imported by Shenzhen Baoningkang were returned to the country of origin.
Many Chinese infant formula experts that have visited the Hochdorf Swissiron fumarateNutrition facilities said that the raw milk from Switzerland is a quality product, but that processing equipment was relatively old and not comparable to Chinese standards.
CFDA’s temporary suspension will surely neciron gluconate benefitsessitate an update and improvement to production and processing technologies prior to any reinstatement of export approval.
