According to the violation cases of imported food announcferrous fumarate folic acid and zinc sulphateed by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), Japan rejected 733 batches of non-compliant foods from March 2021 to March 2022. Among them, 15% products failed because of unqualified food additives, involving excferrous sulfate jampeeding limits or scope, failing to meet ingredient specifications, and using the additives that ferrous fumarate recommended dosageare not allowed to be used.
